REGIONAL APPROVED AGENTS NON EXCLUSIVE FINDERS AND FACILITATORS FEES

Pro Formal Agreement- Not approved at this time.

If the Contact Name(s) that a Referral Agent submits are NOT already on the Africa Travel Media Database or mailing list, or have not advertised with us in the past, the Referral Agent will be notified and will receive an agreed amount upon completion of a sale.

The compensation will be a flat amount or a percentage of the final sale price agreed upon.

Example. A full page magazine ad appearing 6 times annually/ The one time price is $1000, so the final sale would be $12,600 for which the Referral Agent would receive $1260

The Referral Agent's fee will be paid by the publisher as soon as payment is received.

What is a Finders Fee?

A finder's fee is an amount of money, usually calculated as a percentage, given to the person who brings buyer and seller together. For many transactions, a finder's fee is negotiated ahead of time and put in writing before the sale is completed.

In some areas, such as real estate, licensed agents commonly collect a 'referral fee', which is simply another form of finder's fee. Some finder's fees can run as high as 10% of the total selling price, but it's far more likely to earn around .5%.

If the Referral Agent is ap[proved to complete the sale, by prior agreement, a closing fee may be added to the original amount. For example, an additional 5 or 10 peercent.
