Canada Day Canoe Trip for New Citizens
ATTENTION NEW CANADIAN CITIZENS: Canadian
Wilderness Trips is offering a free, 3-Day Weekend
canoe trip, to eight new Canadian Citizens this
coming Canada Day.
Toronto,
ON: April 10th, 2003 - Canadian Wilderness Trips, a
canoe and sea kayak tripping company that has been
operating, as a division of Travel CUTS, for 30
years, is offering this experience as part of their
30th anniversary celebrations. This unique
adventure is a 3-day canoe trip, starting on June
28th and ending on Canada Day, July 1st. The
participants on this excursion will be eight new
Canadians who have recently received their
citizenship.
 This
canoe trip is designed as a special anniversary
event to celebrate the unique benchmark of this
organization. Canadian Wilderness Trips has a long
and successful history of introducing Canadians and
travellers from all parts of the globe, to living
and travelling by canoe in our wilderness areas; an
inspiring aspect of our Canadian Heritage. What
could be more Canadian than paddling a canoe
through the interconnected lakes and rivers of
Algonquin Park? Eight new Canadians will be offered
the opportunity to experience this wilderness
adventure first hand, at no cost.
Interested
participants will be asked to apply by submitting a
letter introducing themselves and describing why
they are interested in this opportunity. Canadian
Wilderness Trips will accept applications until mid
June. Proof of new citizenship is required.
Following this process eight people will be chosen
to embark on this adventure.
