We
invite all travel tourism and hospitality industry
colleagues to join us in Tanzania at this
outstanding event. Having participated in ATA
Congresses since launching Africa Travel Magazine
12 years ago, we welcome the opportunity of meeting
face to face with Ministers of Tourism and National
Tourism Board executives from many African
countries. Representing all facets of our global
industry, the Congress is held every
May.

ATA is pleased
to invite you to the 33rd Annual Congress to be
hosted by Tanzania's Ministry of Natural Resources
and Tourism.
With less than
two months before ATA's hallmark international
event, we are pleased to send you the registration
material regarding this year's Congress. We look
forward to spending an exciting 5 days together,
starting with the Opening Ceremony on Monday, May
19 as we continue our campaign of "Bringing the
world to Africa and Africa to the
worldTM".
ATA is also
proud to announce Ethiopian Airlines as the
Official Congress Carrier. Ethiopian Airlines is
offering all ATA delegates a 30% discounted rate
off of economy class airfare (excluding taxes) from
the United States. For all other international
destinations, please contact your local Ethiopian
Airline office. The airline has reserved a set
number of seats for delegates therefore we
encourage you to send in your Registration forms to
ATA so that we may in return provide you with your
flight booking instructions to reserve
tickets.
Please note that
additional carriers also service Tanzania such as
KLM, Emirates Airline and Qatar Airways (Emirates
and Qatar require making a connection in Dar es
Salaam for Kilimanjaro or Arusha
airports).
IMPORTANT:
While the Congress meetings will be held at the
Arusha International Conference Center, ATA has
negotiated special hotel rates for our delegation
with 4 hotels in Arusha (please see attached
registration form).
WHAT TO DO NOW:
We
expect our hotel spaces to book up very fast;
therefore, please send in your forms indicating
your accommodation preferences as soon as possible.
Room availability will be provided on a first-come,
first-served basis. Please send in your Congress
registration form with your
requirements.
EXHIBITION:
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism will
also be holding an exhibition at the Congress
meeting venue (Arusha International Conference
Center). For those who are interested to exhibit
during the 5 days, please contact ATA for more
information.
MEMBERSHIP:
Please fill out the attached membership application
form with your membership fee paid in full to be
able to partake of the discounts and be in good
standing with the organization.
