Beneficiaries
The
primary beneficiaries of this proposal
will be decision-makers and other users of
environmental information. Although this
is usually thought of as a government
function, the largest numbers of users of
environmental information for
decision-making are in the private sector,
ranging from farmers planning introduction
of new crops, construction industry, local
investors, banks and microfinance
institutions and tourists.
All
Ugandan residents and investors will be
secondary beneficiaries.

Arrangements
This
project will be a multi-faceted special
project coordinated by Genesis Initiative
Uganda. Assistance will be coordinated
through the activities of:

Local agencies, NGOs and the local
communities.
2.
Mukono District Local
Government;
3.
National Environmental Management
Authority (NEMA)
4.
Specialist technical consulting resource
persons.
