- Harmony - Airways Introduces Toronto
Service
Vancouver, BC: Canadian
travelers now have another airline option to fly
between Vancouver and Toronto. Dr.
David Ho, Chairman and CEO of HMY Airways,
announced his new airline in February, 2002. HMY
Airways owns two Boeing 757-200 aircraft with a
spacious 197 seat configuration, providing more
legroom.
HMY Airways started its
winter season by serving Western Canadians. This
new airline flew from Vancouver, Calgary, and
Edmonton to popular destinations, such as Mazatlan,
Puerto Vallarta, Ixtapa, Cancun, the Riviera Maya,
Las Vegas, and Manchester.
Beginning this summer,
Vancouver based HMY Airways will be commencing
service on North American routes, which include
flights to and from Toronto, Los Angeles, and Las
Vegas. As an airline that focuses highly on
customer service, HMY Airways will be flying twice
daily non stop between Vancouver and Toronto.
Service on board the aircraft will include full
meals, inflight entertainment, convenient departure
times, comfortable legroom, as well as an upgraded
class of service in addition to the full economy
class.
HMY Airways' vision is to
fly to Asia. By concentrating on Vancouver as a
hub, the airline is taking its first steps towards
their vision. The airlines' executives are already
looking at acquiring long haul jets from aircraft
manufacturers for service to the Orient.
