More about Malawi
Baobab
Expeditions launches new Livingstone and
Stanley itineraries in Malawi.
Baobab is an African
Safari Expedition company which visits
some of Africa's most exciting
conservation organisations and combines
this with its very own unique self-drive
(or chauffeured) 4X4 safari concept. We
offer a choice of 8 exciting expedition
routes along which our guests can choose
to drive their own (or chauffeured) 4x4
vehicles, all the while retracing the
footsteps of some of Africa's most
legendary explorers such as Livingstone,
Baines, Andersson, Stanley and Da Gama.
Baobab's backup vehicles, guides as well
as its mechanics, enable our guests to
explore otherwise hard to reach and famous
African World Heritage sites, game parks,
conservation and community
projects.
Our Livingstone and
Stanley itineraries visit Malawi, aptly
known as the 'Warm Heart of Africa'.
Baobab's Malawi highlights
include:
¬ An exciting
selection of adventure activities,
including Trekking Mount Mulanje,
exploring Nyika on Horseback or
snorkelling in Lake Malawi's crystal clear
waters.
¬ An exciting
selection of game parks, including
Liwonde, Lake Malawi or Nyika.
¬ A selection of
luxury Lodges and wilderness camps located
throughout Malawi.
Our partnership with
leading conservation organisations enables
us to offer inspirational travel
itineraries supportful of wildlife
conservation and local community
enterprises. We aim to provide a
unique insight into local cultures and
wildlife and to create a platform from
which our guests can learn about the
challenges involved with conservation of
the community and of endangered
species.
We are passionate about
conserving Africa's endangered animals and
indigenous communities. Facilitating the
commercial exploitation of tourism to an
optimal advantage of the local communities
and endangered species is a key aspect of
Baobab's ethos.
