Brief Bio of Sandy Dhuyvetter

Sandy is the founder and president of Celestialink LLC the parent company for all the TravelTalk series of programming.

Ms. Dhuyvetter's technical and creative background has enabled her to develop 
a communication platform that has grown in the last 10 years to become the premier travel programming preferred by approximately 135 countries each month.

She is highly regarded as a technologist as well as a superior communicator, always getting the facts to her audiences while treating her guests with respect.  Sandy has developed thousands of hours of visibility and opportunity through her radio and TV programming for hundreds of companies who are in the travel and lifestyle sector.

RECENT NEWS:

      August 2011 Sandy and team celebrate 10 years on radio.

      May 2011 Sandy becomes Global Ambassador for the International Women's  Fair in Accra Ghana.

     February of 2011 Sandy becomes member of the Airline Ambassadors International Board of Directors.

    January of 2011 Sandy was appointed as executive consultant to the president of the International Women's Fair in Accra Ghana.

   June 2010, Sandy named Senior Advisor for Business for Diplomatic ActionOrganization

   February 2010, Sandy becomes US AID Media Specialist for Palestine.

    November 2009, Sandy wrote the Foreword to Tourism Progress and Peace  a book written by scholars and travel experts around the world, published in May 2010.

    In October 2009, Sandy and team begin broadcasting BusinessTravelRADIO

    In August 2009, Sandy appointed as an editor for The Journal of Tourism and Peace Research in Holland.

     In July 2009, Sandy becomes active in strategic alliance of The Corporate Council on Africa.

    In June 2009 Sandy participated in the American Moroccan Professional in America forum in Casablanca.

·         In October 2008, Sandy signed an agreement with China Education Media Group to form a new Travel Channel in China.

·         In July 2007, Sandy was appointed to the private sector advisory committee for the Transportation Security Administration as part of her DHS responsibilities.

·         Sandy and Dr. Sun Yat-sen, a special documentary in Chinese and English was awarded 1st Prize for the 2006 Final Radio Report Contest in Nanjing China.

Ms Dhuyvetter obtained her undergraduate and teaching degrees at Arizona State University in illustration and design. Sandy served as adjunct professor at Mission College in Santa Clara where she taught computer graphics. Sandy is also a 1995 graduate of the Pac Bell sponsored Entrepreneurial Incubator program for multi-media based businesses in the Bay Area and Silicon Valley. She frequently speaks to audiences addressing such subjects as the use of a combination of Radio, TV and Web technologies in the successful promotion of trade and the development of global business relationships through highly effective marketing and communication campaigns.

Sandy is an experienced world traveller having visited over 50 countries and producing broadcast from 90 destinations.  She has an extensive knowledge of international business practices and customs up to and including ministry and ambassadorship levels. Her ability to produce and distribute world class programming is widely acclaimed.

Ms. Dhuyvetter believes that international travel and tourism constitute a huge economic engine capable of paving the way to increased opportunities for countries and their people. She also believes women are one of the major driving forces behind tourism and she enjoys highlighting those countries that applaud and honour their women as an integral foundation of the society. Her participation in Tourism4Peace.com, a Middle Eastern forum on tourism and peace is what excites Sandy the most in her work. www.tourism4peace.org

Her passion is to encourage efforts that attract cultural exchange and understanding and to continue to work toward providing visibility to emerging and developing tourism destinations around the world. She believes international exchanges and collaborations attracts world peace.
