The Institute was
incorporated in March 2002 with the stated mission
of creating more substantive and sustainable
educational, cultural and economic exchanges
between the United States and Sub Saharan
Africa. We are a Florida
based non profit entity that develops and works to
influence public policy relative to constructive
engagements with the forty eight nations of Sub
Saharan Africa. We carry out our
mission through formal working relationships with a
variety of stakeholders who support our mission and
by developing leadership in our core
areas. Our vision,
mission, and values determine which projects we
pursue and the ultimate relationship or goal we
seek with each partner and project. Our
Vision To have a better
environment for intercontinental exchanges by
providing information, structure, and
research. Our

Institute was created to promote opportunities for
sustainable educational, cultural and trade
exchanges betweeen Sub Saharan Africa and the
