The
tourism industry
celebrates in Place
Bonaventure in
Montréal
Once again this
year, Montreal's travel
industry is preparing
for the 17th edition of
the International Travel
and Tourism Show to be
held on October 28, 29
and 30th 2005 in Place
Bonaventure, Downtown
Montreal. This yearly
event attracts around
30.000 people coming to
visit the stands from
exhibitors representing
all
continents.
The
African pavillion
will be well
represented this year
with the visit, by
long-date exhibitors to
the show, of
Tanzania and
Sénégal.
In addition, South
Africa will be
present after several
years of absence. A
newcomer this year,
Maison d'Afrique,
located in
Montréal, will
promote the rich african
cultures and the
enormous tourism
potential Africa has to
offer.
Tunisia,
Morocco and Egypt
will also be part of the
exhibition but will be
located in the
Mediterannean Sea
section. It is
interesting to note that
those three countries
maintains a permanent
representation through
their tourist offices
located in
Montréal. Once
again, this show will be
a very good opportunity
to make a rapid tour of
the world and will give
customers and trade the
perfect occasion to
exchange. A rendez-vous
not to be missed.
