LAUNCH LUXURY AND TRAVEL EXPO IN NEW YORK CITY Consumer and Travel Trade Expo to Focus on
the Luxury Lifestyle Milford, CT: Following the
unprecedented success of their inaugural Adventures
in Travel Expo, Unicomm LLC today announced plans
to launch Luxury & Travel Expo, January 14-16,
2005 at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York
City. Luxury & Travel Expo will be co-located
with the Adventures in Travel Expo, which drew over
3,500 industry representatives and over 22,000
consumers at its event early this year. Luxury
& Travel Expo is the industry's only hybrid
trade and consumer show, serving high-end travel
enthusiasts, business travelers, and industry
professionals. Located in the "Travel Capital of
the World," New York City, and sponsored by the New
York Post and CBS Channel 2, Luxury & Travel
Expo will lead the industry in quality of
exhibitors, attendees, and world class seminars,
which will satisfy even the most demanding
traveler. "More and more people today
are choosing high-end travel," said Unicomm CEO
John Golicz. "The Luxury & Travel Expo will
offer a unique opportunity for travelers to
experience multiple luxury travel options under one
roof." Golicz said he expects the combined shows to
draw between 30,000 and 40,000 consumer attendees,
4,000 travel and meeting industry attendees, as
well as at least 250 exhibitors in addition to the
500 who exhibit at Adventures in Travel
Expo. On Day One, Luxury &
Travel Expo is open exclusively to travel and
meeting industry professionals intent upon
increasing their luxury product knowledge and
enhancing their sales. On Days Two and Three,
Luxury & Travel Expo expects to draw tens of
thousands of the country's most affluent and
educated travelers. World class interactive
features, including photo-workshops presented by
National Geographic professionals, fashion shows,
the Exclusive Luxury Theatre, the Cultural Travel
Pavilion, the Vacation Homes Pavilion, the Golfing
Traveler Pavilion, and the "Spa of the Future" will
attract attendees seeking destination knowledge,
valued expertise, luxury travel merchandise, and
travel consultation services. The multi track conference
program serving both the travel industry
professionals and the public will be presented by
some of the foremost luxury travel experts in the
world. Unique National Geographic experiential
classes will offer new perspectives on the world of
possibilities in travel. "Adventures in Travel Expo
clearly signaled public and industry enthusiasm for
a niche show that is truly exciting," said Golicz.
"No one else is bringing together the most
compelling travel and luxury opportunities in one
unforgettable show. The Luxury & Travel Expo is
for individuals and families who plan to vacation
