Minister for Tourism and
Handicrafts Supports Moroccan Travel Market in
Marrakech The Minister Mr Mohammed Boussaid was
appointed by His Majesty the King to the post of
Minister for Tourism and Handicraft. Was born on September 26, 1961 ,

Mathematical Sciences at Moulay Idriss secondary
School &endash; Fez - 1980-1982 : Preparatory
classes for entrance to Saint Louis secondary
school in Paris (first/second year of preparation
for entry to science Grandes Ecoles) 1986: Civil engineering
degree at the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et
Chaussées - ENPC- Paris (industrial
engineering) 1999-2000 : Master of
Business Administration at the ENPC School of
International Management. Professional
experience: 1986-1992 : Executive at
the Commercial Bank of Morocco , appointed to the
rank of Director from 1990. The major positions occupied
are as follows : Co-responsible for the
Department of the Big Enterprise (Marketing and
Markets Direction) In charge of the
assessment of industrial investment projects at the
Direction of Credit Director of the
Real-Estate and Tourism Department for the
Direction of Credit Divisionnaire at the
Direction of Credit in charge of a regional
portfolio 1992-1994 : Deputy
Managing Director of a production and trading
company of chemical products 1994-1995 : In charge of
a portfolio at the Direction of the Big Enterprises
for the Moroccan Bank of Trade and Industry
(BMCI) 1995-1998 : Chief of the
staff of the Minister of civil engineering works,
then Chief of the staff of the Minister of
Agriculture, Equipment and Environment. 1998-2001 : Director of
Programs and Studies at the Ministry of
Equipment. 2001-2004 : Director of
Public Establishments and Participation (then
Director of Public Enterprises and Privatization)
at the Ministry of Finance and
