ATA 7th Ecotourism Symposium, Zanzibar 2003: Views of the beaches, the warm waters of the Indian Ocean and the warm greetings that awaited us during ATA's 7th Cultural and Ecotourism Symposium in Zanzibar. Above right are scenes from the Gala Night, and a group of Zanzibari school children (below) provide a welcoming dance during the opening session. On Host Country Day, we were so impressed by our trip to Chumbe Island during our symposium in Zanzibar, we swore that we would tell our readers all about this hidden jewel of the Indian Ocean off Tanzania's Swahili Coast.
