OUR GATEWAY

On August 17, 1990, the newly rebuilt Libreville International Airport Leon M'Ba opened its doors as Air Gabon's gateway. The modern terminal was designed to offer travelers the utmost in service, comfort and convenience.

Today, Air Gabon handles an average of 450,000 passengers a year at Libreville, out of the airport's annual total of 800,000 passengers.

The airport has both international and domestic terminals. Inside the terminals, ticketing offices are open seven days a week, during normal working hours.

Facilities in the airport include: restaurants; bars; a bank; post office; telecommunications office; car rental agencies; tourist and hotel information and reservation centers; a duty-free shop and a number of kiosks selling everything from newspapers to Gabon's exquisitely collectible handicrafts.

The airport is managed by Airport de Libreville (ADL).

Many hotels run regular courtesy buses to shuttle passengers between the airport and the city.

Extensive taxi service is also available. The airport is located less than a quarter of a mile from the

beach and approximately 8 miles from downtown Libreville, with a travel time of 10 &endash; 20 minutes.
