..Roger Kacou

The Intercontinental Hotels Group has appointed Roger Kacou as the new Director of Operations for Africa. He was previously in charge of the Eastern Africa region. A French citizen, Mr. Kacou is a holder of a Masters Degrees in Hotel Administration from Cornell University and Economics Science from Abidjan University. Mr. Kacou is multi-lingual is fluent in English, French and Spanish. Mr. Kacou is married with four childen. His nationality is French, and he is also fluent in English and Spanish. He is a Board Member and Director in the Africa Travel Association and has worked very closely with ATA to assist in promoting tourism in Africa.

Mr. Roger Kacou was Regional Vice President and General Manager of the Ivoire Inter-Continental, Abidjan (1984) and has been the General Manager and Regional Vice President for Eastern Africa region, responsible for Nairobi, Lusaka and Asmara Inter-Continental Hotels.
