Exeter Game Lodge . Kruger Park, South Africa
Exeter Game Lodge boasts seven luxury rooms and three ultra luxury suites. All rooms and suites have unique en-suite bathrooms. In addition, the suites have private plunge pools or jacuzzis, all with commanding views of the Sand River. The rooms and suites have each been individually designed and decorated by a top South African interior designer. African textures, colors and shapes adorn the rooms and reflect Africa's culture and mood.

In addition to the magnificent accommodation, then Exeter provides comforts such as a swimming pool with stunning views of the Sand River, comfortable lounges, a well appointed curio shop and beautiful landscaped gardens. Sumptuous meals suiting all culinary tastes and prepared by our Executive Chef, are served in the boma, in the lapa overlooking the Sand River and the savanna beyond or on a river bank in the bush.

A unique conference room situated on the banks of the Sand River is designed to accommodate up to 30 delegates. State of the art equipment includes a VCR and monitor, overhead projector, proxima slide projector, flip chart and whiteboard. A business centre offering internet and e-mail access, fax, photocopier and secretarial services is also available. The area is covered by cellphone signals.

Mid-morning and afternoon breaks may be taken in the shade of a grove of ebony trees overlooking a hippo pool. Game drives with experienced rangers and trackers are conducted early morning and late afternoon. An exciting bush walk is conducted after breakfast. The area is renowned for sightings of Africa's great cats - lion, leopard and cheetah. As part of the greater Kruger National Park conservancy, Exeter can present surprises in the form of a King cheetah, or one of Kruger's "Big Tusker" elephants.

An alternative experience is one of Exeter's self catering lodges, Leadwood Lodge or Hunters Lodge. These are both ten bed lodges, providing an up market self catering getaway.
