Victoria Falls, Zambia Update

Stanley Safari Lodge

Wining and dining:

With our new chef French-style cuisine with an African touch could be served in our Wine Cellar for a romantic Tete a Tete.

This has proven to be a very successful option during the wintermonths.

During the hot season, our pool dinners remain a beautiful alternative.

Additional rooms:

Since a few months, the Baobab Cottage is in use. It is a more closed room, slightly larger than our normal rooms, close to the Main House.

The Honeymoon Suite is still the favourite with -like all our suites- its private plunge pool.

Our additional suites are almost finished. These new suites are airconditioned and their colonial style is unique again!

This brings our total to 3 normal rooms and 4 suites with private plunge pool.

Activities

The average stay of our guests is still rising! This is mainly due to the wide selection of activities available around the Victoria Falls. Since a few months elephant back safaris have arrived in Zambia! Brand new is Quad biking, as latest addition to the adrenaline activities such as rafting, bungi jumping, jetboating, microlight etc.

The more classic actvities such as canoeing, sunset cruise, Livingstone Island lunch and Chobe day trip are still much asked for.

For more info about activities, do not hesitate to ask us!

Flights:

Nationwide Airlines has further beefed up their flights

Livingstone-Johannesburg with improved connections to Cape Town. In June, the route Livingstone-Kilimanjaro (Tanzania) has been added, which opens up the Victoria Falls as add-on to East African safari circuits! And at the end of this months, Nationwide connect Johannesburg to London Gatwick 3 times per week!

WTM 2003:

Rates 2004=2003. Longer stay, lower rate (after 3 nights).

Stanley Safari Lodge will be exhibiting at the Zambia section at WTM London. Vinciane and Reinout will be delighted to show you the latest pictures and postcards of the lodge.
